Hey everyone!
I thought I'd try documenting/journalling my daily experiences here covering my first week on modafinil. I just received my order of Modalert 200mg and Modvigil 200mg from Modawhale. I paid using Bitcoin (their own payment option at the moment) and my order arrived in less than a week, which was great. I didn't expect it to arrive that quickly. Tracking number was received after less that 6 hours, and it took ~1 day to appear in the tracking system.
Today, I decided to try Modalert for the first time. I took one pill in the morning and waited for the effects to kick in. After about an hour, I started feeling more alert and focused than usual. I was able to complete tasks with more efficiency and I didn't feel as tired as I normally do.
So far, so good! š

Day 7:
Hey everyone, it's already Day 7! So today marks the end of my modafinil trial.... I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on my experience and share my final thoughts.
First of all, I want to mention that I took one tablet of Modvigil 200mg today. Overall, I've found modafinil to be an effective tool for improving my productivity, focus, creativity, and social skills. This is really what I was looking for when I started taking it. I didnāt want a part drug, I have other things for that, I just need a little something that would help me get the most out of my day.
Throughout the week, I noticed several positive changes in my daily routine. I was able to work on my projects for longer periods of time without feeling burnt out or losing focus. I was more articulate in conversations, and I felt more confident in social situations. Additionally, I found that modafinil reduced my need for caffeine, which is a great bonus, I find myself drinking way too much coffee these days. It was nice to not have to go to the bathroom so often!
However, it is important that I also include, I did experience some mild side effects throughout the week, including dry mouth, headaches, and mild anxiety on a few occasions. These side effects were not too bothersome, and they did not interfere with my daily activities, but depending on the person, I think that these side effects might be more (or less) pronounced, depending on how your body responds to the modafinil.
I want to emphasize that while modafinil has been helpful for me, I quickly realised that it's not a magic pill either. Itās a bummer, but also the reality of things. It's important to maintain healthy habits like exercise, nutrition, and sleep. I did noticed that Iām more likely to maintain my healthy habits when I am taking modafinil, which was an added bonus. Following my experience Iām seeing modafinil just as an additional tool that I'm using to help me achieve my goals.
Overall, I'm really impressed with the positive effects that modafinil has had on my productivity and quality of life. I plan to continue taking modafinil on an as-needed basis. I'm excited to see how it can continue to enhance my daily routine.
Thanks for following along on my modafinil journey, and I hope that my experience can help others who are considering trying it out.
Day 6:
Hey everyone, it's already Day 6 of this modafinil trial, and I wanted to share an update with you all. Today, I took Modalert 200mg, and I've noticed that it's been helping me stay focused and productive for longer periods of time. As someone who struggles with ADHD, it can be challenging to maintain focus and motivation throughout the day. However, with modafinil, I've been able to work on a project for several hours straight without getting distracted or feeling burnt out.
One thing that I also noticed is that I'm not getting as easily sidetracked by social media or other distractions while working... I feel like I have more control over my attention, which is great because it's been a major issue for me in the past.
However, I did experience some other mild side effects today, including a mild headache and dry mouth. These symptoms were not too bothersome, but I made sure to drink plenty of water and took a short break, which helped alleviate them.
I also want to note that while modafinil is helping me stay productive and focused, it's not a substitute for healthy habits like exercise and sleep. I still try to get at least 7 hours of sleep per night and make time for physical activity. Modafinil is just an additional tool that I'm using to help me reach my goals.
Overall, I'm still very happy with my modafinil experience and the positive impact it's having on my productivity. I plan to continue taking it and observing its effects. Stay tuned for one final update tomorrow!
Day 5:
Hey guys, it's day 5 of my modafinil trial and I wanted to share something interesting that I've noticed. Normally, I'm a bit socially anxious and struggle with small talk. However, since taking modafinil, I feel like my social skills have improved. I'm more confident in conversations and I'm able to hold more interesting discussions with my colleagues. I feel more articulate and connected with my brain, which is really refreshing.
However, I also want to note that today I did experience some increased anxiety over the course of the day. It wasn't anything major, just a general feeling of restlessness and tension. I'm not sure if it's a direct result of modafinil or just a coincidence, but I wanted to mention it. Overall, I'm still finding the positive effects of modafinil to be worth it and I'm going to continue with my trial. I'll keep you guys updated!
Day 4:
Day 4 of my modafinil trial. It'll just be a quick one today. I'm happy to report that it's not just helping me with work tasks, but also creative tasks at the moment. I took one tablet of Modvigil 200mg this morning and I felt a surge of creativity that I haven't experienced in a while. I was able to come up with new ideas and solutions for some of my projects. I'm really enjoying the focus and clarity that modafinil is giving me in general. If things continue going this way I'll soon look to placing another order!
Day 3:
Hey guys, it's day 3 of my modafinil trial and I'm still feeling the positive effects. I took one Modalert 200mg this morning and I feel like I'm able to stay productive all day long. I was considering increasing the dosage to one and a half tablets, but one tablet seems to be enough for me, at least for now.
Something that I thought was worth noting, I usually hit an afternoon slump and feel unmotivated to do much for the remainder of the day, but today I was able to power through and complete all my work tasks with enough ease. I'm pretty stoked about that! I also feel like my memory retention has improved, which is a bonus! My to-do list doesn't know what has hit it. I'm starting to get concerned that it might not be long enough.
No anxiety today compared to yesterday, but I'll continue monitoring this. Maybe it was the Modavigil? I'm not sure yet, but it has been helpful keeping records of my experience and dosages so far. Let's see how tomorrow goes.
Day 2:
This was my second day of taking modafinil and I wanted to update you all on my progress...Iāll try and keep this up for seven days, letās see how I go!
Today, I took 1 tablet of Modvigil 200mg in the morning and I felt even more focused than yesterday. I didn't sleep that well though, I felt as though my mind was racing while I tried to fall asleep. Too many ideas and too much new-found motivation to take them on. Despite being tired, I was able to power through my work tasks today and didn't feel distracted by anything. My tiredness quickly went away at the beginning of the day. I also noticed that my mood was elevated, although, I did notice that Iām a little more anxious than usual. Iāll keep an eye on this to see if it gets any worse or not. So far it has been manageable, the benefits in my productivity are definitely outweighing the slight increase in anxiety. Overall, I'm impressed with how well modafinil is working for me. Iām not sure if I respond better to Modalert or Modvigil, so Iāll keep alternating between the two to see.
